How this started
Siren's Lair is a hobby that got out of hand. It is so fun for me to do, I'm constantly writing down sketches and ideas for new pieces. That did mean that my apartment started to overflow with chainmail. And after some requests from friends and family, I decided to start a small business.
About me
I'm a full-time PhD student that had a craving for a creative outlet that required me to use my hands, rather than my brain. Jewellery making sparks so much creativity and passion in me, it has offered me a great way to unwind from work.
The name
I want my pieces to feel as though they were found in a siren's lair, treasures she found on the bottom of the sea, rich with pearls and gems. And, my second name is Lorelei, the name of a famous siren, so these mythical creatures have always had a special place in my heart.
